About the Author

James Breeden grew up in a large family in St. Charles, Illinois. After graduating from high school he hitchhiked across the western United States and settled in Mexico for a couple of years to write and ponder his future. He lived in New Orleans for ten years and graduated from the University of New Orleans. After 26 years teaching Language Arts to middle school students in Durham, North Carolina, he's currently enjoying retirement with his wife Susanna. He continues to write daily and play basketball where he's rapidly losing the jump in his jump shot but not his love for the game.
