Besides the GAS STATION PULP AWARD, Breeden's stories, "A Ticket to Paradise" and "Targets," were finalists for the RASH FICTION AWARD sponsored by the Broad River Review, and for the JAMES HURTST PRIZE FOR FICTION respectively. "Righteous Rita" was the editors' choice as BEST FICTION in the anthology Stuck in the Middle published by Mint Hill Books.
